The job sounds cooler than it is, but I'm actually super excited about it. Today was my third day, and it's really interesting. Basically what I do is sort and label samples (blood, urine, etc.) that then go on to be tested for various things. The lab is huge and includes Chem, Heme, Tox, UA, Coag, and Patho all in one big room. It's on the top floor so there's lots of big windows which is really nice. It just feels really good to be starting my career, rather than spending another summer at a retail job.
